Rescue of the baby stork

A webcam in Vetschau, Germany let us into the lives of 2 adult storks, Cico and Luna, and their first born, Lenka, along with Meto, who is just a couple of days old. Sadly, Lenka was stepped on by a parent and died. Later that day, Meto was accidentally moved from the bowl of the nest to the outer area, and the parents didn't really help bring him back to the main part of the nest. Viewers everywhere were glued to their computers when we heard the sound of sirens and the local fire department showed up to save the day! Meto can be seen at approximately the 5:30 position by the twigs as the drama starts to unfold.
