I filmed this for the local TV networks (BBC and Meridian) as the chimney that had been standing for years and years was to be demolished to make way for new buildings. I was filming from a wobbling access platform but managed to keep my broadcast camera still. I'm a cameraman by profession.

  • Nice cinematography-- I'm going to be doing a lot of that myself, and am a little daunted, but it's a great job, right? You'd know better than me, working for major TV. :)

  • @milograamans Sorry Milo. Didn't know you had commented, as I've never looked back on this posting until now. I rarely work for TV (commercials sometimes) but mainly do aerial cinematography (helicopter camera/tech work) in Feature Films.

There is too much back-stabbing in TV, whereas everyone in the film industry is friendly (unless it all goes wrong, then we all run and hide from the Director).
