@res813 Not the same without Sid? Are you kidding me? Sid was a tool. Sid did not play anything on NeverMind The Bollocks. Steve played all the bass except on Anarchy witch they used the single with Glen Matlock from 1976. Sids playing was horrible,out of tune,out of timing. Steve would unplug him and Sid would keep playing like a retard all smacked up.

@MrRocklover106 It counts, but not the only thing that counts. People say punk is not about being able to play ect, but it is. Every Punk band that made had/has brilliant musicians in them. Attitude is good, but being able to play, help the band florish, and being a good band mate is what really counts. Sid was a empty coat hanger as Rotten says. He even admits Sid was a poser, and he was his best friend.

@xEdddie Its a story there is no truth or distruth to it. He coulden't walk to the notes, he was out of time, he was out of tune. He would of never been as great as Matlock, if he was alive longer it woulden't of been long. He would of died from aids or some other disease from drugs ect. I dislike Sid so much because I hate when I see kids who nothing about the band praise him like a hero.

For all you guys saying "Sid Can't play and sucks and is the worst bassist in Punk history" Listen to reason. I read that Sid and his girlfriend (Not Nancy) stayed in a Hotel, His girlfriend was going to bed and Sid stayed up all night with a Ramones album and Bass. When his girlfriend woke up, Sid could play. Sid could play but just didn't have enough potential to be able to play in public. If he was alive longer he probably would become a good enough Bassist. Too bad he died to soon, R.I.P Sid

In Lemmy's Autobiography, 'White Line Fever' He describes being in a pub when sid vicious met him. Sid asked for bass lessons from lemmy. Lem was reluctant and kept saying no. in a rare occasion lem said yes just to shut Sid up. Lemmy says he was the most hopeless 'bass player' he had ever encountered in his life. that says a lot coming from Lemmy, who technically is, the god of bass guitar.
