i really liked the the 65-67 beau brummels but just kind of dropped off when their stuff quit charting.my loss.i watch this real time vid done perfect with the great vocals.i think i'll look up the Sundazed 3 box and pickup where i left off.

i DARE anyone to send me a 'bad song' done by this group. i was a kid of the 60's i remember they had like 3 songs we all knew and love right? well later i found a album on Vault.vol.4? and im thinking, must be a bunch of junk,,i took it home

and ,every song had it's great points. it's like they had incredible taste and it's a shame they aren't held up like other groups. they are from S.F. California not england makes them even better..

GET ALL their albums and listen to em.

@CHUCKLOVES1969 Then you should try to get the 3CD box that Sundazed released some 15 years ago. The Beau Brummels recorded so many great songs that never were released officially.

I really believe the 60s and 70s were the best time for Music.

Today it is just easy to market pretty faces.

MTV killed the Music.

Before TV Musicians people really focused on the MUSIC.

Why are the Beau Brummels one of the forgotten bands of the 60s? They have a lot of great songs, not just 2-3 hits. Mid to late 60s is truly one of the best eras of rock be it pop, garage or psychedelic.

The Brummels aren't forgotten by those of us who were lucky enough to see them live. I lived in the Sacramento area at this time and used to head to San Francisco every weekend to see one or several groups perform. They were one of the best!

@nomiclas Small Virgin Records only big contract act was the Brummels. In '66-'67, big record companies began stocking stores without charging; come back in a week or so, then charge only for records sold. Small "Virgin" could not afford this "fronting". Thus Brummel records became scarce. Going out of bus. Virgin sold the Brummels to RCA. RCA, wanting quick return on investment, forced the Brummels to record the album "Beau Brummels Play the Hits", a cover album... crushing Brummels' image.
