This performance ... and ... Marion Montgomery ... are everything that seems to be missing in classy music today. I had the great privelage to see her with Lorrie Holloway at London's famous Pizza On The Park in 1998. I sat about ten feet away from her. She was beautiful and sensational. I left into the cold night air feeling on top of the world. What a pity she is no longer with us. J.

What a gem of a piece this is! I thought that I knew most of Jerome Kern's work, but this somehow slipped through the net!. As this video proves, this tricky song can only be sung by a "real" singer and Marian was all of that and much, much more. Lovely, sensitive piano accompaniment by Dudley Moore too.

I remember her during the quiet moments of the Apollo 11 coverage singing "Fly me to the Moon" with the Dudley Moore Trio, pure bliss.
