Mormon church spokesperson goes on the record in early 2009 about Mormon involvement in Proposition 8. Many out and out lies, including her claim that the Mormon church did not donate any money to the Yes On 8 campaign, as well as claiming that Prop 8 didn't take away any rights.

Lie after lie after lie. What a wretched excuse for a "church." The mor(m)on church is a wicked institution with young blood on its hands, and it can't crumble soon enough for my tastes.

Look at Mormons history - real, documented history not the lies published as lesson manuals for their Sunday School - and you will see they lied constantly. Smith was wanted by authorities for crimes such as polygamy, treason, fraud, banking fraud, printing money, destruction of property, high treason. He lied all the time and the cult continues to lie about their hideous past. Why should we expect anything different from them today?

@bellarmine246 The Mormons corporation LIED. They got fined for it. They are front and center all the time when there is any question about civil rights. They opposed black civil rights and were forced to get a quick "revelation" by the Federal Gvt or lose their tax-free status. They opposed the Equal Rights Amendment for women and excommunicated any who supported it publicly. They now oppose gay rights. A CULT always needs a boogyman to instill fear into the sheep.

@bellarmine246 Right, very smart. Let religions strip away the rights of minorities and then lie about it afterwards. Maybe after this we can get the southern evangelicals to take back the right of african americans to vote! After all, if one minorities rights are left to whims of the majority then they all should be right?
