my mate will talk to them to make it seem like he is generally interested in what they have to sell he will ask them every detail.....15 minutes later when they think they have a deal he just says "sorry mate not interested" and hangs up.
At least this way they pay for 15 minutes of wasted phone calls and you gain a little more knowledge of double glazed windows :).

better still is to get them to hold..... you go off for a few min... go back and say..... can you hold a little longer..... do this a few times ... then go bk and say ...sorry no time to talk now .... need to wash the cats bum! lol j
