My friend, AnimeJunkie06, mentioned to me the other day something along the lines of 'Kai and Max is my favorite pairing and all, but...You do know that they hardly ever talk, right?'

So here I am to rant. Ye TaKa-shippers be warned.

Yes, I must admit: Kai and Max DON'T talk all that much. But hey, it's better than Takao and Kai, who only BASH EACH OTHER IN THE HEAD FOR THE MOST PART.

Yeah. I have no idea why I really don't like Takao, and, as a side effect, have a deep, unnatural hatred for KaiTakao, but I can tell you right now that it gets me more hatemail and angry letters than it does positive feedback.

Oh, and, people out there: I'm not adoring KaiMax because I want to be 'unique' or 'different'. I don't give a crap about being either. Just because the KaiMax-shipper community is so small it could fit in a volkeswagon buggy doesn't mean every last one of us is nuts and needs to be converted to one of the other popular pairings.

In fact, I can only tolerate Max and Rei paired with Kai. From the bladebreakers, at least. I like BryanKai, TalaKai, and a few others that don't even involve Kai, but none of them are as luffed as KaiMax.

I ain't nuts.

And you shouldn't say I am for liking what I like. People are always saying that opposites attract, so that's why Takao and Kai are 'meant' for each other, and others say that they are 'meant' for each other for other reasons, and that opposites attract doesn't even exist.

1. Trust me, if Opposites Attract didn't exist, I wouldn't be alive. A true tale: My mother is a happy go lucky MONSTER that never graduated college. My father is a serious, silent, well-read creature with three degrees in psycology in animals and humans, and epidemeeology. (The study of viruses and how they spread.)

Kai. Meet Max. Kai, sleep with Max. Max, create MOI.

I am the effect of opposites attract. I know what you're thinking: Yeah, so? Your parents are probably divorced anyway, disproving your point, blah, blah, blah...

They aren't. They will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in one or two years.

The fact is that I believe in KaiMax because they are TRUE opposites. Fire and water. Light and dark. Happy and depressed.

And I am the product of opposites doing, what else?! Attracting.

So there's my sob story for the day.
