this is awesome. gonna try it this wknd. one thought and a question... thought: i wonder what i would look like if you did the petals on the front and twisted the back? might try it. question: did you find that the pieces that you tucked came out over time, like when sleeping? i'd worry about that but you're so right about the pins. #ouch

i wore my hair like this for about a week, and i always wrap my hair at night with a scarf, so none of the pieces ever came out. if anything comes out of place, just put it back! :) i actually just did a petal hawk tutorial that's very similar to what you're describing. check out the video!
