Steve - I do not usually get involved in posts - but you seem really angry at many of the painters following in Denny' s footsteps; not really sure why; regardless, I was privileged to meet Denny when I moved to Denver in 1996 right before Brian started working with him. He worked with Denny for years and is the only artist to actually train with Denny; hence some of the paintings are very similar. Denny will always be missed, but his legacy lives on.
The problem I have with this guy is that even though he tries to copy Denny Dent who was incredible, he on the other hand is just a cheap copy. No self style. His paintings looked forced and generic. Sorry.
I just seen this dude on Good day LA Fox 11 morning news. He's pretty fucking good!
