A basic overview of the program and how to make a custom preset for exporting clips to the web. Also some compression settings suggestions.

The test clip was originally 450mb and 11 seconds long and was was sized down to 1.3mb

  • If I don't want the compressed file to go to the default destination, how do I select the destination I want it to go to?

  • @hootyhaha Right next to the settings tab in the bottom lefthand window there is tab labeled "destinations". Once you're in the tab, there's a folder called custom. Click the plus sign like you're going to create a new preset and select "local", you can then select any folder you like. Next go the compression preset you're going to use and click on the actions button (looks like a gear). You'll notice a pulldown that says "default destination", change it to your new location and click save :)
