I really want an XLR mic port but I know they sell adapters on ebay. You'd think it would just come with it.

Picture quality is amazing, and makes the little handy cam I'm using for this review look cheap.

Overall a great camera for people into video production.
I love this camera to death. Thus why I named it "Jet".

@GreenProducions are you using Firewire or USB to import video? If you are using USB, it wont work. You need to use Firewire with a program that captures HD video :) Ive never used this camera, but Im pretty sure it uses firewire to transfer files :)

literally i cannont get my hdr fx1 to import video. like i connect it and shit and it will not show up on my computer.... help me please!

I got the Sony HDR-FX7 which is a little more recent of a camera but if you had to compare it what would you say is better??
