HOW exactly are your "shielding" the magnets?
-
@Gnc8man No, regular generators are not powered by magnets. Magnets are used to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. They are not by themselves a source of energy.
-
@lirpa21 I believe you can use any material suitable for making a magnetic core. Typically iron, nickle or cobalt. However your progress is soon going to be impeded by a simple fact, which is that the magnetic force is not a source of energy. We can use magnets to generate electricity, but the energy has to come from somewhere else, such as a hand crank, windmill, water turbine, etc. No amount of shielding is going to change this or make the conversion process more efficient.

can you tell me how you shielded the magnet? i am working on a theory on how to convert the force of a magnet into electricity, your idea can really help my progress.

aren't normal generators powered by magnets as well?
-
So you made the exact opposite of what they need.....

¿How do you shield the magnets?

troll video. lrn2conservationofenergy
What about conservation of energy? you use up the magnets and replace em like batteries. :P

@DukeHastMich Not trying to violate the laws of physics. Just looking for that extra source of energy previously not noticed. No different than a windmill. But before a windmill was invented, most would have thought it was a violation of the laws. Now we figure in Wind as the energy source.
As far as the magnets draining and needing replaced like batteries.... Umm, they do not work that way. I'm not saying they would never lose their field, just not the way you describe.

This shielding effect, is not a cancellation of the field-- but by adding field conducting materials, you create a magnetic circuit. In doing so, you are redirecting the lines of force (based on the saturation of the conductor, in relation to magnetic density). In essence, you are not so much shielding the pole, as you are redirecting, or redistributing the field lines... but I feel the benefits are there to be realized, nonetheless. Further experimentation is always needed, so good work.

And you are EXACTLY CORRECT!!! And that's why I added all the notations when I understood exactly what the effect was. I leave up the video simply because it does make you think, and maybe someone else will have more luck putting it to use than I ever did. I've moved onto much more fun stuff since then!

Wow this proves nothing. Wasted my time.

Taking the time to read the annotations in the first 20 seconds would have helped you know. But thanks for making it my fault you cant read!
