Exactly, its a grid design, so if a crack in one section rips open, only that grid will rip open which will obviously depressurize the cabin but now rip the entire tail off.

im gonna say that these are designed sorta to rip a small hole if it has fatigue. its designed to do that. Its not supposed to happen but if it does it only rips a small hole not a big one.
