Twice A Man was founded 1981, as an extension of the band Cosmic Overdose.
Was at the start more like an ordinary musicgroup in the synthesizer genre, but has since the middle of the eighties become a project-group, who cooperate with artists from other fields such as film, theatre and dance. Their musical style is hard to pigeonhole, since it stretches through a variety of synthpop, ambient, experimental, tribal and classical music.
Main members through the years have been Karl Gasleben and Dan Söderqvist.

Twice A Mans interest to visualize their music has been one of the characteristics of the group and they appear as pioneers in the context of using advanced technique with an artistic expression. The samples-built sound has played a key role through out the years, often with the additions of vocals and electrical guitar.
