A look at the Penobscot Building, Detroit's most recognizable skyscraper, which turns 80 years old in 2008. When the Art Deco landmark opened, it was the eighth-tallest building in the world, and was Detroit's tallest until 1977, when it was surpassed by the Renaissance Center.
