1000 yard shot is pretty easy with a modern scope and rifle (and yes I hunt and yes I could make that shot :) still nice though :D

0:10 doesn't that guy look like one of the 2 guys that used to do sonic commercials?
-
not sure but it sorta looked to me like you only took the head and horns, or did you still get the meat somehow

@dtyng85 I'm not sure if the "Sustenance" argument really holds any water in this case. I took a DIY elk hunting trip to Colorado a few years back for a hair under $2000. I bet this cat spent more than that on his spotting scope. LOL

Nice shot!!!
@Teufelhund5803 Nonsense thats an argument for the hunters own pleasure, who cares? Almost anyone could make a 50 yard shot for Christ's sake; regardless of nerves! The objective was to make the impressive shot which was why we all searched this video. There may be other videos for what your looking for. I think very, few people could make this shot without a lot of skill. If anyone disagrees post a video of you shooting anything at a thousand yards! Until then no disrespecting this video!!!!!

I don't understand the point of all these "that's not hunting" comments. So what if it isn't. As long as they eat the animal I don't see a problem with it. I HARVEST deer every season. Being a broke college student I could care less about the hunting aspect. I shoot deer to fill my freezer because I can't afford to stock up on meat at the grocery store. To some of us, it's about providing sustenance, not the thrill of the hunt.
