This is a comparison video of the Joker's different incarnations. Now, as some people in the comments have expressed, some people get really offended by this video cuz I said Ledger was the best, i made this video three years ago and just threw it together, so forgive me for the poor quality and calm down. I like both versions equally now and understand that you can not really compare them at all. I just like seeing people talking about who they like in the comments, so that is why i have it up. Peace

  • METAL !!

  • @pcrvg0808 Would be my choice of music if i could go back in time and add music.

  • The period goes inside the quotation marks.

  • @jcannonator actually if you want to be a nit picky little bitch that is only the american usage. In the British usage placing periods outside the quotations to end the sentence not only is logical, but is just fine, and since this is the internet and thus worldwide, I can use either usage.

  • I seriously don't understand this whole comparison deal with people. As time developed in comics we have seen different variations of the Joker. Tim Burton brought us the zany, comic antics of the Joker while still maintaining his unbalanced mentality. Nolan gave us the completely random, deeply psychotic aspect of the Joker that we would see in graphic novels like JOKER or Arkham Asylum. Die-hard Joker fans or not, you need to just come to terms that each actor portrayed the role faithfully

  • @a7xfan20 i know that now, and to have intelligent people such as your self discuss the comparison is why i have left the video up, i like hearing what people have to say.

  • Heath Ledger played the more psychotic crazy Joker. Nicholson played the more Cunning Joker. Look they both did a great job. They both portrayed the Joker really well.

  • Ledger's Joker is a guy who got fired from his job where he had to dress up as Ronald McDonald and decided to slit the corners of his mouth and wear lots of make-up (can you say emo ?) and take revenge against the world ! Seriously, Ledger's Joker looks like the emo version of that clown at McDonald's. The only reason people are defending Ledger's Joker so much is because they are hardcore Ledger fans and will defend their idol with their lives, just like those Nirvana kids defend Kurt Cobain.

  • Heath ledger is a billion times better than the jack Nicholson joker in every way possible hands down end of story goodbye

  • @Joker3797 LIKE A BOSS.

  • @NottinghamForest22 actually you can't compare them...two different Joker's...Jack's Joker was funny, while Heath's was more insanse..you can't compare apples and oranges:)

  • @Susi2584 nah, people overrate his performance just because he did himself in. Nicholson is far better.

  • @NottinghamForest22 Heath Ledger's joker shits on those two...his acting was extraordinary and that is a fact...

  • @jcannonator hahaha

  • @Iotasnake I am not talking about Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger as actors, I am talking about their portrayals as Joker.. Jack may be the better actor, but Heath was the better Joker.. Just read The Killing Joke, then watch Jack's Joker and Heath's Joker.. There is more similarities between the character and persona of TKJ Joker and Heath's Joker..

  • @NottinghamForest22 Yeah but his portrayal of Joker was awesome, hence the praise and awards.. And jealous outcasts like you were the result of his awesome acting
