  • I remember "Winky Dink." My mother walloped me when she found I'd been drawing on the TV screen with purple crayon!

The best "Romper Room" franchise was in Chicago. Miss June had great boobies that jiggled whenever she danced. (Miss Betty in Minneapolis never saw me in her Magic Mirror, the b*tch!)

As for Li, I shall refrain from printing any of the truly vulgar jokes I know here. (Like, "He was great on the piano, but really sucked on the organ!") :-D

  • "LIBERACE" was probably the most successful filmed musical variety show in syndication, from 1953 through '56. It lasted 117 episodes- and at its peak, in some areas, it was repeated several times a day, throughout the week!

  • never heard of Winky Dink. OMG! Romper Room! I still have my Romper Room board game! You know, now people may scoff but Liberace's show was really pretty good! I had his record of "Velvet Moon" on a 78 and wore it out. Yeah, nerd. LOL!

  • i was a valet for liberace at a hotel. he seemed ok. his boyfriend was a flake.

  • Liberace knew how to "work" TV! When he looked at the camera, he was singing to me!
