How To Make A Penlight-based Mouse Controller for Your Notebook / PC

This video shows you how to create a pocket touchlight(penlight) based wand-like or "Wii-controller-like" mouse controller device for a notebook computer with a built-in webcam, using only the penlight and a piece of film negative.

We are able to use the device to control most normal WinXP applications and to play some simple games.

This is demo video#2 for the "Interactive Computer Interface using Webcam" project by our Audio-Visual Project lab, Elect. Eng. Div, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.
