  • Please remind us all Wcflush, what was it this song said about normal hard working private sector workers exactly?

  • Yes SOH did themselves proud, I too appreciated the evident discomfiture of W Hague!

  • Labour's second consecutive landslide victory in the 2001 election, Hague stated: "we have not been able to persuade a majority, or anything approaching a majority, that we are yet the alternative government that they need.In the 2001 election the Torries gained only one seat from their disastrous 1997 election. Hague resigned as leader. Now we have the CleggCamSham that no one wanted. Hague listens to a song that is as much about the Con/dems as it is about banks and has the audacity to clap!

  • now come on .'normal hard-working private sector worker', we all need a voice...and Steve Knightley provides a great one for those who care about more than their own little existence.

  • steve knightley is my dad

  • great vid

  • Garbage leftist tosh that barely scratches the surface of the situation for normal hard working private sector workers.

  • Only heard of this particular version of this song at a SOH show last week. Well done! Even on the small format display you can see Hague squirm. Keep up the fantastic work Steve, Phil and Miranda. "They" need to know we're watching them!

  • Saw these guys at Anvil Theater Basingstoke...seen them before and will go see them again..they are honest great musicians!!

  • Love this clip. Brilliant band. Expresses so well what many of us feel. The anger at seeing 2800 bankers each award themselves bonuses of over one million pounds last year whilst jobs are cut and public sector workers pensions are reduced. Who caused the current economic crisis and who is paying? Get angry, don't stand for it.

  • william hague didnt look too comfortable there! well done show of hands you sirs are saints,i dont suppose the bastard realised he was one of the arogant ignorant and greedy!
