Fort Collins - Tanks on a Train - Colorado

A train passing through downtown Fort Collins. The first two engines (blue ones) say Electro Motive and the third (yellow) says BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe). It was carrying about 15-20 tanks (not all shown). The video was taken at the corner of Mason Street and Olive Street (130 West Olive).

Thats crazy. I've never seen a train go down the middle of the street. I thought when I seen pics of this that it was a mistaken re-route. Is this the only place in the world where a busy line like this runs down the middle of a busy ave.

The track is used quite a bit. Mostly commercially. Yes, it is a busy street, but pretty much quite safe as residents are used to the train.

Thanks for posting this- I've been searching for video images of trains running Mason Street for a long time without any luck. This is one the last places in the nation where street running occurs. I cannot wait until BRT begins!

this has to be the only place in the U.S. where a train can roll down the middle of a busy street. I at first thought this was a wrong re-route. Is this a busy line?
