This is video from the snow and ice we got in Fort Worth TX on 02/01/2011. That is all we got here in Fort Worth. Today (02/02/2011) the ERCOT has ordered rotating power outages for all of Texas!
I do not think that Texas is part of the national power grid. I guess to make it more easy for Gov. Rick Perry (R) to take Texas out of the United States. So we can not get any power from the national grid?
My guess is the Super Bowl will get power. Not sure about your hotel. Welcome to Republican Texas.

Update (02/02/2011): I am not sure if I am living in Iraq or Texas now. We now have rotating power outages ordered by ERCOT. See the following for details: ShowMeBlog: http://showmeblog.com Howard's Notebook: http://hnb1982.com ShowMe Fort Worth: http://hnbbs.com

  • Also i think one time you and a friend should do a review together. :)

  • @Freezie455 What makes you think I have a friend? Smile I would love to a video and have someone to ask questions of and disagree with me. The only problem is I can not find anyone that is my match. Smile I have been wondering if I could be two people and interview and disagree with myself? Seems like a good idea but a LOT of work.

  • dude thats retty bad for texas. also i think u should get shoes just in case :D also in illinois we got around 19 inches o.O

  • @Freezie455 Yes you are correct. I saw some local TV and talked to my two sons and grandson and I guess it is pretty bad out there. My grandson had to take a bus to work at about 6 AM. When he got off work at about 3 PM he waited for the bus for over and an hour and no bus. There should have been a number of buses that came to that bus stop. The buses had stop running. Plus no one makes any attempt to clear snow or ice. They just wait for it to melt!

  • @Freezie455 The reason is I do not have any shoes is that my feet swell up so big that I can not fit my feet into any shoes. I am taking a water pill but so far my feet are still swollen. Salt is what does it. Everything I eat has salt in it... I love salt.

  • I am in Austin and i am jealous because we have no snow , just VERY VERY strong wind !!!

  • @jtgagafilms I would be happy for you to have the ice. The snow is nice.

I am a liberal and I am jealous of you living in Austin. I would love to live there. Or in the hills outside of Austin.

  • @hnbbs salt adds the tang u need in your life :)

  • Thanks for documenting the effects in your part of the Metroplex; we received a little less sleet and snow over north of Dallas.

    .

  • @TheAltair4 I am in west Fort Worth. I think we got off sort of easy. The apartment people here make no attempt to do anything about the ice and snow. The streets look clear here now ...but not our parking lot. I got to get out and get some Coke. That is "Coke" with a capital "C" by the way.
