  • hey what about cooling, the xbox 360s allready have cpu cooling ishues and the hdd wasn't meant to go inside the 360 so the extra heat might caouse an issue, porbably not but maybe, oh and what if u have a friend come over with his hdd and u want to whitch them for game saves or something but now u gotta take apart ur xbox to get that cord out of the way for another hdd or plug the other hdd in with a cord. very big pain in the ass

  • @laidysman2000

Hey thank for not just calling me a fucktard like the rest of the people here.

But anyway it did create a bit more heat but i keep it cool in my room but i could see how it could still be a problem and also when me and my friend wanted to trade saves i had it fixed to where i could get into the xbox without a problem. But i dont have my xbox like this anymore but like i said i did it for fun just to see if i could. So it was just a little project that i did nothing serious.

  • good job putting 2 heat generating pieces of hardware together without any real airflow.

  • @ninjamonkey4 i know right...

  • Is your turn your external hard drive into internal?

  • @sergiocl91

  • Absolutely no point in this...

  • why O_0

    The Hdd isn't even big

Looks like you've been fantasizing about the kinect model too man...

I mean ok even if it was a big Hdd (not saying it is),it looks better than having this done, not flaming you here at all because I like seeing home console projects but you see my point?

  • hey man just to tell you not being me but if your cdrom magnet, it could possible damage your harddrive or break it, you put somekind of insilation underneathe?

  • Why do people post videos about doing mods and stuff and they don't actually have any knowledge of electronics. If you don't understand the need to keep things cool then you deserve to have people call you a fucktard no offense. If you interested in working with elecontrics/computers and things go buy some PC for dummies books or something and learn the basics so you don't make another video that makes you look like an idiot.

Im not trying to be mean man, just giving ya some sound advice.

  • @kennydude19 buy a better aftermarket heatsink. newegg is good for that

  • eso no es modificar es de sarmar y solo 20 gb ???????????

  • eso no es modificar es desarmar

  • @darkknightblaze you would be surprised on how a good hard drive will make little heat but cheap xbox hard drive would make a lot more but the thing is it should work if you have a 2 gen xbox or higher (the thing that makes more heat then the hard drive is the disk drive if used for 1 hour it make more heat then a hard drive for 1 hour

  • @darkknightblaze sorry ran out of text (limit) but yeah was just wondering if you had suffered the same problems, just the stock AMD heatsink didn't cut the mustard. I was thinking of getting a Corsair H70 but after reading reviews apparently it's not all that good, and a bit bulky may i add. Just my intel core i5 cpu doesn't really require it, i like to build and sell AMD systems, bit easier on the ole wallet.

  • @darkknightblaze nice setup dude btw i need to ask a fellow pc builder, about 2 months ago i built a PC for a freind who wanted one, the cpu i used is the same as yours an AMD Phenom II but it was an X4 @ 2.9ghz per core, for some reason the Phenom II seems to reach around 55 c in Idle with stock heatsink i was wondering if you had suffered ill fate with this generation AMD processors, in full load it would reach around 70 c, but i replaced the stock sink with a nice thermaltake one much coolr
