Celtic Thunder - a brand-new show created and produced by Sharon Browne, made its debut in the U.S. with a public television special airing on local stations nationwide in March 2008. Filmed in the Helix in Dublin, the show features five male vocalists (Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom, and George Donaldson) performing an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Celtic Thunder's musical director and composer Phil Coulter and one track Lauren & I penned by Keith himself. This is a great rendition of the original Loverboy song. I think Keith should record this for world wide release. His voice has a wonderful range and a romantic edge to it that is really showcased in this song. The high notes are pure and the low ones so lovely. The song itself is so evocative. It makes you feel like you did before you first fell in love and were longing for the one. Keith gives a passionate performance laced with soulful stoicism at times. It is both mystic and beautiful!
