  • Dr Z have you herd of or have any feed back about the Coil Jet portable unit by speed clean? I seen them at Johnstone.

  • @atcherservice1 They look like really great little units. I just don't have the kind of money it takes to buy one right now.

  • Wow - GREAT show! :)

    ~Cindy! :)

    ..

  • Thanks.

  • What NuCalgon product did you use for this video. Did you use the same solution for the condenser and evaporator?

  • The NuCalgon product was the coil gun. I had to use an off brand coil cleaner that the school board supplies us with.

  • awesome!

  • Why not if you can get to it.

  • Dr Z, is it possible to clean or at least vacuum the cat hair off of a residential evaporator coil by removing the natural gas heater core below and reaching up through the hole with a vacuum ? I need to inspect my heater core anyway and it seems like less trouble and expense than removing the evaporator.

I'm thinking about also adding an access door in the plenum above the coil so I can spray it down with coil cleaner from above after I vacuum the loose dirt off from below.

  • I'll keep that one in mind for when I have the opportunity. Thanks.
