The Garson division of Cactus Corporation exhibited the "Luxury Crystal Benz", a customized Mercedes Benz SL600 studded with roughly 300,000 Swarovski crystals, at Tokyo Auto Salon 2009.

The Luxury Crystal Benz is the work of D.A.D., a well-known brand in the car accessory field.

Two customized cars, one in silver and the other in gold, were exhibited. The crystals used in the gold edition are special sized crystals that were custom ordered from Swarovski, a renowned crystal manufacturer in Austria.

D.A.D.s newly developed adhesion method ensures superior durability and weather resistance to enable the custom cars to be driven on ordinary roads.

The custom cars are not for sale, but if they were to be sold, the price would be somewhere around 70-100 million yen.
