@barnesfam I was 10 (going on 11) when this song came out. As a child of the 70's, we had no cell phones, MP3s, Laptop computers, CDs, debit cards, or many of the items, many of the younger generation, has these days. Not all the music of today is bad (sucks), but even I have to admit, back then, that the music did have more soul. Playing your records (vinyl lives on), 8-track, or the newly fangled (back then) tapes, made waiting for a new album (music), to come out, so much more sweeter!

@Devine071 The 1970's were so diverse. Elton John, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Kansas, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Bowie, Aerosmith, Punk, and Disco, all in the same decade. Amazing.

@stine69 first off...you're an old person. Music like this is still produced. Listen to Breakbot or something...just because it isn't on the radios...doesn't mean it isn't out there...kids today fucking love disco and produce stuff just like this with more dance beats and higher eq levels. My friends and I always talk about anticipating albums....

and tons of young people still buy physical media. Your generation is just stuck thinking their the shit of all time.

@barnesfam Actually, by being born into a later era, you have more choice of music from which to choose (gems from today and gems from yesterday). Believe it or not, much of the music from the 70s also sucked (though I've always liked this one).
