I think the reason Eridan's existing theme was chosen over this was probably because harpsichord music was already Terezi's leitmotif. At least, that's the only reason I can think of, this is absolutely fantastic.

In Grim Daylight and Loosing Reality's Grip on my tindeck. I put the ones I thought were best on this channel.

I find this suits Eridan a lot more than his Alterniabound theme. It has pangs of loneliness and desperation while still retaining that threatening royalty feel to it.

I think the use of the harpsichord is rather nice c: reminds me of bach.

I feel like both songs fit into his overall personality. Both Gamzee and Eridan share the trait of being introduced as silly, comic relief characters before their more sinister intentions became apparent. Eridan is more than a lonely, prideful psychopath; he had a playful side, too.

My god I wonder why this didn't came to the album but this is really amazing and in my personal opinion this fits with eridan's personality more than AlterainBound's album.
