Steam locomotive at Strathcarron

LMS steam locomotive No 17953 arriving at Strathcarron station. Signal drops, crossing gates shut and as the train approaches the station, driver exchanges 'tablets' with stationmaster. Wagons are unloaded and loaded with goods and livestock, letters are posted. The mail bus is readied for day's deliveries.
