Great scene from a great film. Mann is unique and talented in his mix of drama and music.

The Insider is a 1999 film that tells the controversial true story of a 60 Minutes television series segment, as seen through the eyes of a real tobacco executive, Jeffrey Wigand. The 60 Minutes story originally aired in November 1995 in an altered form because CBS' then-owner, Laurence Tisch, objected. The story was later aired on February 4, 1996.

  • Just listened to Stratus. Good track, but I prefer the Massive Attack version. Mann definitely knows how to choose his music!

  • @3434aaaa It's Massive Attack - Safe From Harm (Perfecto Mix)

  • What Pacino says at 1:21 is the most powerful quote I've ever heard...What got broken here doesn't go back together again...So true.

  • I loved that background music at the end, when Pacino walks out the door, in slow motion.

Does anyone know what the name of that tune is ?

  • Pacino and Plummer...Two brilliant actors at the top of their game!

  • @nickfalzone expression of overpowering emotions without a word being said...brilliant !

  • this song 'Safe from Harm by Massive Attack is actually a remake of a tune called 'Stratus' by Fusion drummer Billy Cobham.
