I also liked your music. For some reason it just fit the video. The video, simple as it is gives me a peaceful and creative vibe. Thanks for sharing it.

thanks sooo much for commenting. I have been bitten by the art journaling bug, and it is all I want to do!!!! I am too much of a perfectionist... I love how you can just paint over a mistake to build a masterpiece. I look forward to watching your other videos.

do you glue pages together to make them thicker? do you gesso first? I am trying this, but the pages are so thin. loved your video.

@denisestarr1 yes i do glue them and about the gesso it depends on what i am planning to do. don't worry keep practicing anyways journaling is not supposed to be all perfect it is your playground where you practice your art.
stay creative

So I can just paint right over the pages of an old book? Does it matter what type of paint? What would you recommend for someone new to painting. I have some acrylics I purchased for the conference I haven't used yet and some watercolors.

@vo31216 you can use acrylics or watercolors anything is okay, remember a journal is your playground where you can experience with materials or mediums so have fun and play :-)
