Hoarding, some go to extremes to organize and save things, parts, hardware, et cetera. In the end, it still is hoarding, that conscience compulsion to not let go of anything of useful value; an endless pursuit to save too much stuff which most likely will never be used and might end up in a dumpster once the hoarder dies or is disabled.

  • This really doesn't bother me b/c it's in a garage, and actually, it looks ALOT better than my garage

  • @JuJube340 Actually it's in a cellar.

  • So, this person does a lot of laundry and eats a lot of tuna sandwiches...

  • @trinitymike Apparently that would be so.

  • A person might as well build up a thrift store with all these excess possessions. I hoard a little bit because I don't like throwing things into the garbage can (as an environmentalist), but at least I make an effort to give things away if others can use them, or create mixed media projects.

  • @AnElephantThatPaints Whatever do you mean by mixed media projects? You must be an artist, junk-art can be very interesting, I shall pass on your ideas.

  • @brokkenstar even still, don't believe he's a hoarder unless his whole house looks like this. It looks alot better than my cellar/Garage does ^_^

  • How many times have we went to the store to buy something because we had it at home but couldnt find it?? This guy saves money through hoarding and organizing. Im envious...

  • This person is smart. Saves money through saving and organizing.

  • @brokkenstar ----This person seemed to be obsessed with organization---all the laundry detergent bottles! It's actually fine if you are doing projects that use all these "items" in the detergent bottles, regularlly. I see a better kind of organizer to use---that would take up less space. Like something with drawers. Was this person your Family member? OCD does that, makes you do useless things with no real purpose, actually. OCD is really some kind of horrible brain glitch.

  • @giaisbomb Righto my friend, for the Grim Reaper comes and takes you away, leaving behind a conglomeration of rusted relics, useless junk, and bags and boxes filled with crazy hopes of living to use it, but living to use it would take a thousand years and more.

  • @RpKingman ----Right. It seems OCD-- like organizing. Too much can be too much.....OCD wastes much time and energy.
