Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Ki Fateh
(The Khalsa belongs to God & to God alone belongs Victory)

I had uploaded this video several years ago but then somehow it managed to go from 10minutes to 3 seconds?
Anyway as this meditation has not been uploaded by anyone else i was compelled to share it with the YouTube sangat (community).

If you choose to do this meditation and recite these holy words make sure you cover your head before starting. This is mandatory as you are reciting Gurbani (The Sikh Gurus holy words)

Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Ki Fateh
(The Khalsa belongs to God & to God alone belongs Victory)
________________________________________

Meaning of the meditation-

Aad Guray Nameh
(I bow to the Primal Wisdom)

Jugaad Guray Nameh
I bow to the Wisdom through the Ages.

Sat Guray Nameh
(I bow to the True Wisdom)

Siri Guru Devay Nameh
(I bow to the great, unseen Wisdom)

"When you cannot be protected, this mantra shall protect you. When things stop, and wont move, this makes them move in your direction." -Yogi Bhajan

  • @KhalsaSoulja What religion is Singh Kaur? And what type of God does her religion worship? I'm guessing not the same God Christians worship, right?

I'm asking because I love all Singh Kaur music and I feel peace, love, and happiness when I listen to her soothing voice; her angelic voice brings meaning to my life -- no other music, including religious music, touches me so deeply.

In fact I learned "Guru Ram Das" from memory, even though I don't understand a single word. :)

    Thanks for the help!

Singh Kaur was a Sikh and Sikhs believes in the same God as Christians, Jews & Muslims.

There is after all only One God; we all call him by different names (Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh, Waheguru, Sat Naam) but in the end there is only One God.

If you click just underneath the view count of this video there is a small arrow with the words 'show more' next to it. The translation is explained to the words she is reciting

  • @KhalsaSoulja Forgive me for bothering you again; I just have another question. Do Sikhs, like Christians, believe in hell? Do they believe in heaven and hell, that some people will eternally suffer in hell?

    Thanks!

  • @23parkour23

I don't know if I'm the best person to ask as i have a very limited knowledge on Sikhism compared to other enlightened souls but from my small understanding Sikhs do not believe in Heaven & Hell like the Christian concept.

We believe that Heaven & Hell is here on Earth. A very similar conception to what Buddhists believe. Heaven & Hell, Pleasure & Pain are conditions of the mind.

Guru Arjan (5th Sikh Guru) wrote 'That place is heaven, where the Lord's praises are sung'

  • @KhalsaSoulja Very well said! This makes more sense logically than what other religions believe in. Though, if hell and heaven is here on earth, -- which makes perfect sense -- then is there an afterlife? Where do you go when you die?

I don't mean to bother you, but this is really interesting to me! Sikhism makes a lot of sense.

I would love to try and answer any questions you have but may i ask that you message me privately on YouTube and i will help to try and answer any questions you may have.

  • Thanks very much for the upload, I am not sikh so like KhalsaSoulja I am curious and found your responses very enlightening too bad you decided to go private.

  • very nice

  • @KhalsaSoulja Wow, I did not know that Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Sikhs worship one God, the same God -- very interesting!

Yes, I know about the 'show more' section and I did use it for this video -- just not everyone puts their time and effort on adding translation and/or description in the 'show more' section. Thank you for doing that!

Thank you for taking your time to answer my questions, and for clarifying that all religions worship the same God. God bless!
