I think a person can take any word or name and make as many links to unrelated things as you wish. There's plenty of recordings in the old testament of God speaking against worship of these man-made idols.

I think arguing over these names blinds us of the real meaning of God's word! That's exactly the way Satan would have it. (John 1:5).. "the light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it"
