  • You speak the truth! My mom had her hair natural for 1 week in between getting her cornrows done. She cuts her hair often and still manages to have thick BSL hair. I love her natural hair, but during that 1 week she heard just about all the comments you mentioned in this video from coworkers that were not of African descent.

"When your hair grows out, you can go to my hairdresser and train your hair". From a co-worker with alopecia issues, "I wear my hair cut short so the thin areas don't show as much, but I'm NOT going to wear a wig. I'll go natural before I do that!'
