Jacko was an Assie Rules player (non-Australians wiki/google it), anyway, he was fairly good at it. He was a common guest on many related talk shows etc. He never took himself too seriously, he was early on in the "I'm a great x player/actor so I'm a great singer" which plauges every country now. Don't get me wrong some of them actually turn out ok, I cite Kylie M. I recall an interview where he expressed his disbelief at it becoming a hit, and inferred that people who bought it were morons.
