Harvest Moon Animal Parade: Pure Heart part 3

Now, this is the most depressing part...this when the child leaves for the other island (in a nutshell). With added commentary from yours truly, but I was VERY close to choking up, as you can tell by the way I was commentating.

The buzzing is supposed to be part of the soundtrack, but my camera messed it up...how come, since it didn't happen when the same track played in the "And so..." part after summoning the Harvest King? I should've kept the volume at the normal volume, but I turned it up for you guys to hear better.

First part is when the preparations are complete (this is the last chance to change your mind! So this is like the point of no return). This is when you get a little sad about the child going, but the Harvest King tells you that there's nothing to be sad about (what do you mean by that?!).

Afterwards, it'll be evening and you and your family are having their last meal as a family (I still feel kind of low whenever I see that in the opening of the game).

Then, you'll find that your child has left the house and has gone to the beach, where they tell you about leaving you and your spouse behind and then you tell them what you think (of course, I tell her that I love her, since she's the bright spark of the family, along with her brother). Why do you think Gale would cry? I would be the one crying, not him. Remember that, hun.

Then the morning of the departure comes and Gale tells me to send her off with a smile (of course I'll try). Then you're there with a few of the closest villagers (and one village kid with the most amount of hearts - it can be Chloe, Paolo, Taylor or any of the rival kids! I got Paolo). Then it's group photo time!

Afterwards, it's time for the kid to go. You can either give them something (like I did, which was a bar of chocolate) or not bother. Then they cross the rainbow bridge (Amy, be a good girl and please remember, that you'll always be in my heart).

Now, the last scene is of you, your family and everyone else. When you're playing as the boy, everyone is waving, including yourself, but when you're playing as the girl...she appears to be crying.
Then it's save-your-game-time (I saved on the third slot, the file I did the whole thing on) and you'll get a gold star.

After all that, the credits roll and if you ask me...why is it so happy and upbeat when your kid's just LEFT?! TT_TT I didn't even laugh at some of the pictures in the credits, even though they were funny in the gameplay.


Then after all that, you can do whatever, like continuing on your main file or starting a new game. I am continuing with my main file and uh, going for Chase this time. Long story behind that.

I am NOT going to do this again! No way in hell. I am not making myself upset over something from a video game. If you think this version is sad and same with other people's work, then wait until you see this yourself. It's even worse.

4/11/11 - Well now, it's been 5 months and if you ask me, I am starting to feel a little better over this, yet those feelings still strike.

I even was that way since the Thursday before, but it just gotten worse by the time I finished recording and stayed that way for the rest of the day.

I wasn't so sure, but I made myself do it and I didn't think about how I would feel whenever I tried to do anything that was related to her. I never do that, even in everyday situations.

I gave that to Amy to give her some energy and to help her feel better. I think I needed that more than her.

I'm so not going to play the game anymore I just know I'm going to cry then :'(

Sad endings make me cry but this also means you've done your job :) You made your child good and made her an up grown and we both know she can life in her own now :)

@Heldjunior All I can say is...never do the Pure Heart thing.

Sure, you can go and see the Harvest King, but never, ever go back up to the mountaintop.

You can play for as long as you want after you've completed the main storyline. This is an option and I took it, but not before saving in the third slot.
