The Polaroid films and cameras disappeared  from the market only few years ago due the success of  digital photography .
Inspired by  "The Impossible Project", (a project involving former Polaroid workers and engineers with the idea to put back into production the  "analog" Polaroid films) we decided to organize this exhibition dedicated to this formidable creative "wonder machine".
This exhibition offers Polaroid creative pictures taken by photographers from various countries.
45 Photographers (with  different  "backgrounds") will submit their Polaroid pictures chosen  from their personal or professional archive.

The exhibition is  made in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and Culture of Dolceacqua and the Chambre de Commerce Italienne di Nice, Sophia Antipolis, Côte d'Azur

The images will be exposed  inside the  beautiful Dolceacqua castle near Ventimiglia in the Liguria region (only few minutes from the French Cote d'Azur)

It's a little tribute to one of the most important technical wonders of the past century.
Polaroid camera was invented in 1948 by  Edwin Land.

This "technological jewel" was part of the  life for millions of users that used this camera for  daily or professional snapshots (for more than 60 years!)
