In this video I travel to Montréal, the second-largest French speaking city in the world, where I grab some food at the Jean-Talon market, hike to the peak of Mont Royal, and join in on a drum circle at the Tam-tams.

  • Disregard my first post, I'm clearly an idiot who was thinking of a different road myself.

  • @gturner38 No problem, but I did make a mistake as one commenter pointed out. The street that divides Montreal between east and west (francophone-anglophone) is the boulevard St-Laurent and not St-Denis (as I stated). Stupid YouTube doesn't allow you to edit your videos once they're posted!

  • I'm ashamed of myself... I live near montreal (like 20 minute bus ride to downtown) and I've never been to some of those places TT_TT

  • @FireyNinja Too funny, yeah that seems to happen with those places you live near. Go! Explore!

  • Great Job! coming from a Montrealer

  • @Feroal2 Thanks, that means alot!

  • canada=french fries haha...

  • Very nice Video i like ....

  • How could you foget Crescent , Bishop , St-Cat and not to mention are millions upon millions of world famous strip clubs. Ask George Clooney if you want some recommendations.

  • To clarify on the St-Denis street it is parallel to St-Laurent and it does go to Old Montreal. Old Montreal is from St-Denis on the east and to Mc-Gill street to the west ( it technically goes a bit further but it's just condos and offices, so not so much for tourist), the nicest part is, in my opinion, from St-Laurent and west of it,(nicer restaurant, stores and cafe) but the tourist part is on the east of St-Laurent.( a bit too Disney like for my taste apart from the Marche Bonsecour part.

  • Don't try to follow Rue St-Denis to Old Montreal, since it doesn't go there. The road you meant to reference was Boulevard St-Laurent (St-Denis is a cross street). Otherwise, nice video.

  • Now I know what to do this summer or March break
