Eve Online has many interesting features. It features a unique characters which can seek power, riches, and fame, One can become a captain, trader, or an officer to name a few. The game also presents differences from the majority of MMO's. Especially, it's not all about having to kill and kill things. There's a lot about customizing your ship, and traveling the universe.

2)Lineage 2
Lineage II is one of the most popular MMORPG's in Korea, though not as much in America.

3) lord of the rings online
Lord of the Rings Online, or LoTRO, can be called the direct competitor of WoW. Turbine (The company that made it) used the WoW formula, took it apart, and rebuilt it, to try to make it better.

@SevDest Dude I think YOU should open your eyes. WoW is the best mmorpg nowadays and nothing can change that. However your right about trying a new mmorpg but personally I would prefer a good fps when I get bored of WoW.

@SevDest It's been through 3 expansions over close to 7 years now, has received the most subscribers at one time, and set the standard for all MMOs that have come after it. How is it a 'piece of shit'? I'd like to hear your reasons other than just talking about the fans.

@SevDest You should only make such a statement after you get to know the game itself and the people who play it.I've played it for about 3 years(give or take 1), but i also play A LOT of other MMORPG's so i can say that my eyes are already opened.I don't have a top 1 favourite game of all times, cause all games have their + and - and i just can't choose, but WoW is somewhere on the top, so don't go talking trash about games you probably haven't played or have but for no more than a day..
