Skype 2.0 Webcam Chat on eeePC

Please excuse my voice and odor I was Very sick and very bored...

This is a short demo of Skype 2.0 working on the eeePC. Once again my distro is the stock Xandros running a custom 2gb Kernel called fmlinuz.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of both the audio and the streaming video on my pc from the eee. The webcam works much better than I imagined it could.

Once again I used to separate accounts to call myself, no funny business I assure you. I do believe that for the webcam to work with Skype, you need to update to 2.0 beta. If you are in Easy Mode, that is easily done by going to the Add/Remove Programs utility following the steps there, it will pop up with the stock repositories.

If you're in advanced mode, I shouldn't have to tell you to sudo apt-get upgrade skype. Thanks again and have fun!

I almost couldn't make it through to the end of the video because of the horrible smell, but I managed.  LOL. Seriously, that is pretty cool how that simple machine can do video chat.
