  • you should I love this watch so much. I want to get a yellow face one too.

  • Also the B morse code in the distress signal does NOT stand for Breitling, but has something to do with the various distress signals out there.

  • No it doesnt. I dont know of an ELT that transmits a morse code after its distress signal. My plane sure doesnt do that. Plus it says right in the manual the B is for Breitling to identify to emergency personnel that the signal is from the watch.

  • the bentley is nicer...

  • The Bentley will also not save your life ;)

Plus its more expensive. But I think it might be my next ling.

  • Read your manual again buddy, your only to test until the display on the wath changes ( 1-2) seconds. the sos B is so that search and rescue know its a breitling watch. Just some freindly advice so you dont waste the battery.

  • Verbatim from the manual:

    1. Switch on

    2. check light is on and sound is heard

3 place the emergency in its holder

4 press gently on the watch. after a short delay a sound indicating that the emergencys transmitter functions normally.

It gives no specific amount of time to test. The reason I did it in the video is so the viewers could hear the B indicating a full cycle of the transmitter.....buddy ;)

  • @rkampschoer im a search and rescuer the B DOES stand for Bretling. you are correct in saying that the morse code stands for something. the only other device that has a morse code in it is a PLB witch will transmit P once a minute to identify it as a Personal Locator Beacon.

  • In Canada, if you "accidentally" pull the emergency e-prib pin, (or just do it for sh*ts and giggles) it will cost you $10,000.00 to do so as that is the fine you will be levied with for doing it without it actually being an emergency.

  • @bigtruckseriesreview that is a tough call. beacon be gone, id choose the omega. that looks to bea nice wearing watch. a tad more slendeder than the breitling. and just as good. both about the same price to be honest

  • @yamahonkawazuki

Which one do you think is better as a watch - nevermind the emergency transmitter.

the Emergency or Omega Speedmaster Professional? I was torn between the two.

  • I just purchased an Emergency off Ebay for $5000.

I fly Jet blue alot and i don't fucking trust their skills. If anything happens, I'ma pulling ma antennae.

  • Your watch must be 13 minutes fast, because you do know you can only test an ELT within the first five minutes of any hour, and for only three sweeps during the test. Right? lol.

  • the choromat 41 is nicer..

  • @HellaJDM Is this an automatic watch?

  • This ain't an ordinary watch, this ain't no Swatch, this is a Breitling. Won't tell you what I paid for it because it's frightening!

  • @myztikal47 i dont doubt it. the FAA dont play around. its ALOT steeper than cost of local police involvement
