This is a lot of fun and has been executed so skillfully, butI agree with the previous commentator; the mood is completely at odds with Hoppers intention which was to capture the sense of isolation and alienation that was the mood of the US at that time (following the bombing of Pearl Harbour). It's also excessively long I feel. These are just my views, but views I gained from taking on the task of bringing this painting to life myself. See my video response.
One of my favorite qualities about Hopper's paintings was how looking at one felt like peeking outside your window, wondering what the people in the midst are doing. I am in awe of this video, you've perfectly captured my interpretation of Hopper's paintings and made a film of it - no dialogue, no interaction between the main subjects, just how Hopper must've intended it to be. I could watch this for hours. Bravo!

Really a very good idea . . . but then you lost your nerve in executing it.
You should have just persevered with the sounds inside the diner and had full confidence in them.
The windows scenes and music are both fatally at odds with the intention of the painting . . .
