  • Go Bears! BCS! (One day...)

  • A luck way to win a game, what a bs comment. Bret, you are 100% correct, this play was to tie the game and thats disregarding the fact that Oregon had already received a few breaks in the game such as the miscalled FG and the horrible late hit call.

  • I miss these jerseys

This play and Dixon's injury stopped us from going undefeated and winning the 2007 championship

  • Fouts Oregon Homer lol..lovely!!

    THERE'S GOTTA BE A CALL?!)?

  • last real game of longshore's career

  • That team should have gone 12 and 0

  • Am I only only one to notice- Cal is always involved in these crazy plays??? "the Play" form '82 maybe the most notorious of all?? GO BEARS

  • Oregon's only good jerseys are the throwbacks

  • @Dankster312 Haha I might have worded it wrong bud but I know and have known the ruling of a forward fumble. You are ignorant for the fact that it is another team's endzone,it belongs to them. When the opposing team "invades" the endzone with POSSESSION of the ball the team has failed to protect their endzone. It is simple man,I mean really simple. I have never heard someone whine about this rule. And when it comes to the caps, its called emphasis bud; its the only way to show it through typing.

  • @franks155: How does not liking a rule make me "ignorant"? I know the rules of the book, I just don't like this one. You're the one who clearly didn't know where to mark a forward fumble. I haven't been ignorant of anything.

As far as "opposing team's" endzone, I'm failing to see why that deserves all caps. The opposing team can't do anything in its own endzone other than get a touchback or try to avoid a safety. It's the team with the ball that actually WANTS to get in that endzone.

  • @Dankster312 Haha I know the ruling of a forward fumble bud. Just like they aren't going to give you a first down if the ball rolls across the first down line OB they aren't going to give you a TD. The BIG difference between the two is that you are fumbling into the OPPOSING TEAM'S endzone. It's their endzone. No one has possession of the ball and it rolls OB in their endzone they gain possession. Haha bud you are the only one showing ignorance here. This is a VERY simple rule.

  • Franks - it looks like you're unaware of the basic rules. They'd spot it the same way they'd spot any other forward-moving fumble - back at the spot of the fumble. An out-of-bounds forward fumble is always returned to the spot of the fumble....unless it goes in the end zone. Your "ALL CAPS" sentence just proves that you're ignorant of the rules.
