@demondayzzz Karlovic has a bad record against Federer with only one win and Federer has an amazing return game that really hurts Karlovic.

@bundeligafan You can serve however you want, just has to get in the box
-
wow i didn't even know that was allowed in tennis!
-
@postflopper He expected a hard serve but instead Karlovic dropped the ball so he couldn't reach it ^^ Pretty clever :p

Did the ball died?

@Gunthix209 Why it is ok in other sports then? In cricket you have people that are able to bowl at 98 mph but also a 40 mph ball is perfectly acceptable. Same thing goes for baseball with some ridiculously slow knuckleballs. A long time ago womens tennis was actually only underhanded serves so it's not like there isn't precedence for it.

I don't get why people call this kind of serve garbage and any pro can return it. I see drop shots during rallies all the time and a lot of the time the pros aren't able to get to them. If you're able to master a short serve that barely goes past the net then I can see that as being an excellent way to mix it up. Especially if you're someone like Isner or Karlovic where people are expecting a power serve.
karlovic has the fastest and slowest serve on the tour
