i'm not accustomed to hearing bogie laugh... i love it. he is just so sexy.

Ann Sheridan was something else: came from Texas with an accent so thick she could spread butter with it, kept enough of it throughout her career till she may have been the most down to earth actress ever its always like having her in your living room, so real you can almost smell the cigarette she is smoking.

A lot of people think that Bogie falling back in that chair was a blooper, but it's actually part of the scene. The Movie is "The Big Shot" from 1942.

The blonde guy got the part. Seriously.

She was great. Very underrated and undervalued.

bahaha....bogie and the chair=greatest blooper ever

@HAZIDEAD That's part of a centuries-old complaint about the morality of theater in general.
-
@oreokittykittencat: That's got to be my favorite goof-up ever!

".... and he never came up --- never came back -- never showed up -- THE SON OF A BITCH DROWNED." xDD

Yuk, that kissing business was ugly. How could you kiss so many men? Almost like porn.

According to my extensive research (aka Google), she was crowned with the title in some contest, and I guess the nickname stuck.
Yay Ann Sheridan. :D
