Very unique, intimate show with a legend. I remember what a big thing it was for someone like Elton to be playing in Dubai - they didn't really have a proper concert venue other than a handful of outdoor tennis and soccer stadiums at that time. The country club was certainly one of the more unusual ones I've seen. But it worked! And a beautiful setting to boot.

@Traveller1612 haha ha . Yeah Arab Sheiks with their own sex slaves, like those caught a few years ago in New York that were given diplomatic immunity. Those laws don't apply to the elites, they're for controlling the sheeple. Elton they probably consider one of their own but does Elton not give a rusty nail about the extra-oppressed homos of Dubai amongst the sheeple?

@engnr1 Actually it's really odd that he would agree to play Dubai at all. Dubai is a Sharia law country where sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, adultery and cohabitation are all CRIMES punishable by long jail sentences! Possession of any drugs also carries a long jail sentence whereas trafficking drugs carries the death penalty! Some party town, huh?
