1988 was not the year I should had been born..but still..im glad i can enjoy it now and listen to my dad talking about the good ol' days, the doors!

Why is everybody slamming the crowd here? They're terrific! Audiences back then used to actually stand and *listen*; some look like they're in a trance. A far cry from all the lame "woohs!" and other cat-calls audiences now dish out which usually ruin one's enjoyment of the show. A brilliant performance, but interesting how Morrison leaves out the Oedipal bit...probably because it was televised.

Great performance footage propably the best I have seen. It's funny when you
look back and see this and realize that some of the fans attending the shows
were just checking out the hip bands and obviously girls wanted to look at Jim just like Elvis. but some of the fans were that counter culture that while drug
induced felt they were having a religous experience .
