Obama: I'll veto funding for the troops

It is critical that the Congress send a final bill to the President's desk that provides certainty to our men and women in military uniform, their families, small businesses, homeowners, taxpayers, and all Americans. H.R. 1363 simply delays that critical final outcome.
If presented with this bill, the President will veto it.

(2) More to the point it's as clear as the sky is blue that brinkmanship politics started with the election of Tea Party officials and it will end with their dismissal. If you want to direct your ire somewhere the Tea Party running HOC is the obvious choice you decided to pass over.That you elected to pass over something so glaringly obvious says a lot about you. To say that this is not a partisan conversation is just offensive, to be honest. It clearly is. Even in the video clip you posted from a Town Hall Meeting the congressman explained, in a fairly basic and unambiguous way, that the the bill process had been sabotaged (primarily by the Tea Party officials) and that's why the negotiations were where they were.

I could say a lot against the consensus opinion here,but space is short. The roots of this problem go back to the Reagan yrs, when massive deficits started. Then it really blossomed under Pres. Bush 43,when spending exploded,taxes were cut,and a false war in Iraq started. I'm all for low taxes but deficits are taxes delayed,not cut. So now our credit card is maxed out and our wealthiest citizens and companies don't want to pay ANY taxes. Please look at the history, and not just blame Obama.

I just watched your rants. You are much more controled in your anger than I am at times. I noticed at right around 2:30 into this you referred to "them" as our "leaders in Washington". They are not our leaders, they are our representaives and they are supposed to be acting for the people they represent, not for whichever politcal party they happen to be a part of. Listening to this video made me angry, and it made me deeply sorrowful. I saw no appreciation in Mr Morans response. Troubling times
